I enlisted in the army in 1963, "a day that will go down in infamy".  I took Basic Training at Fort Ord, CA. and  AIT (Signal Corps) training at Fort Gordon  GA.  I served with the Army Security Agency. 

 

My first duty station was on Okinawa (51st SOC Torii Station) for 18 months. I then transferred to Thailand  (5th - 83rd RRSOU) where I completed my military obligation.
