Inca temple
We arrived in Lima, the capital of Peru and spent a couple of days site-seeing. Then onto Cusco, the historical capital of the Inca Empire. After a few days in Cusco we went by bus and train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu Town). It is the access point to Machu Picchu. It's a 20 min. bus ride up to the complex. It was overcast and misting when we reached it, adding to the ambiance of Machu Picchu.
