'Blue jeans' is the nick-name for the Strawberry Dart Frog.  Quite poisenous

We bused from coast to coast, stopping in parks, mountains and rain-forests. We also visited villages and schools to better understand local life. A day long river trip up the Rio Frio, near the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, was the highlight of the trip.
